Contradictions

A pot of milk
Is boiling behind...
Facing those
Fridge magnets
Frozen!

Those little souvenirs
Which once felt
Sweet memories
Don't feel the same
Anymore...

A plant in the balcony
Has a newborn
Baby leaf
With an innocent belief
That tomorrow
It would grow...

It looks at the flower
In the neighboring plant
And seems to be glad
For holding its ground!

Contradictions co-exist
Life happens anyway

Humans just witness
Humans do practice
Hope and sadness
Flowing though this current
Day after day!
